It's still about birds -- if you have very good eyesight

Murray Head, a photographer who has contributed many wonderful bird and nature photos to this site, sends one that may not look ornithological at first glance. But he assures us that it is! In spirit and in architectural symbolism it is well-suited for posting today. Murray writes:

Just thought you might like to see a picture of Barack Obama I took last year at the rally in Washington Square Park.

As Obama points the way to the future... in front of the Arc De Triomphe...if you look carefully on the tree to the right there is a raven... and he has a little placard which reads? "Bush... Nevermore!"
