UNCOMMON VISITOR to the AZALEA POND

Tom Fiore sent this in early this morning:

Hi Marie,

Surely there are much finer photos than mine of the very uncommon visitor to the Azalea Pond - a Yellow-crowned Night-Heron - observed for much of the day by many hundreds of people.  Late in the day it became a little more active and began to move about as it gave some calls, staying in the same area of the Ramble through at least 7:30 p.m.
