Today's warblers

Another humid morning in Central Park for my Thursday morning American Museum Of Natural History bird walk group. The most active areas were the Belvedere Castle area and the south side of Turtle Pond. Highlights included:

Northern Parula (Belvedere & Turtle Pond)

Chestnut-sided Warbler (Belvedere & Turtle Pond)

Magnolia Warbler (Belvedere & Turtle Pond)

Black-throated Green Warbler (Turtle Pond)

Pine Warbler (2 - Turtle Pond)

Blackpoll Warbler (2 - Turtle Pond)

Black-and-white Warbler (Turtle Pond)

Northern Waterthrush (Belvedere)

Common Yellowthroat (Turtle Pond)

A not-very-Scarlet Tanager and others

On a humid morning in the Ramble, my American Museum of Natural History bird walk was able to find some warblers in the park. The most active areas were the south side of Turtle Pond and the Maintenance Meadow. Highlights included:
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Tupelo Meadow)
Eastern Phoebe (Maintenance Meadow)
Brown Thrasher (Maintenance Meadow)
Red-eyed Vireo (Maintenance Meadow)
Northern Parula (Maintenance Meadow & Turtle Pond)
Chestnut-sided Warbler (Turtle Pond)
Magnolia Warbler (Maintenance Meadow & Turtle Pond)
Black-throated Green Warbler (Turtle Pond) Pine Warbler (Turtle Pond)
