The great Central Park photographer MURRAY HEAD sent in the following picture story for your holiday pleasure:
Hi Marie,  I was at The Point this morning (Friday)...
trying to get the right photo of the peripatetic
Golden-crowned Kinglet...
It was quite difficult
to photograph this little sovereign.

He would hide behind branches and leaves


Fly up like a rocket


He'd hop


And he'd drop


And when he'd come out in the open light he would
show me his tail feathers


Finally! He presented me with the angle that showed him to be, in my view....the Easter Bird.
